Naked Wines: David Lowe's top pick reds

I am really impressed with Naked Wines: their ethos, their website, their service. I don't hide this fact, so people keep asking me for recommendations. This is always a difficult task as everyone's tastes are different. However, below is a list of some of my favourites for a variety of styles which will cost you less than £60 for a case of 6:

Blackwood Ridge Pinot Noir 2008 (£9.99)
Hacienda Don Hernan Winemakers Choice 2007 (£8.99)
Milani Montepulciano d’Abruzzo 2008 (£6.99)
Mistral Carmenere 2009 (£6.99)
Brewery Hill Reserve Shiraz 2008 (£11.99)
Vicien Malbec Reserva 2006 (£10.99)

Unfortunately, due to Naked's method of sourcing wines, they are not always available. Therefore, below are my second option suggestions. I know, I am too kind!

Monowai Pinot Noir 2007 (£10.99)
Hacienda Don Hernan Tempranillo 2008 (£7.99)
Rimbaldi Montepulciano 2009 (£7.49)
Gosling Creek Merlot 2008 (£7.49)
Brewery Hill Shiraz 2008 (£8.99)
Vicien Bonarda Reserva 2006 (£10.99)

And if money is no option, I'd really recommend Domain Barossa Black Tongue Shiraz 2008 at £23.49 - it is VERY good.

Happy tasting,

David
