Bring Your Own bottle to leading London restaurants

Fed up paying over the odds for wine when you eat out?

A new club enables you to take your own bottle when you dine at participating restaurants, and pay little or no corkage.

The club, created by Khadine and Christopher Rose in partnership with UK high street chain Nicolas, will cost £99 per year, but can quickly result in massive savings to diners.

BYO used to be the province of low-end, unlicensed restaurants and for customers who want to drink on the cheap, but the BYO Wine Club includes restaurants Michelin-starred venues such as Arbutus, Aubergine, Club Gascon, L'Oranger, and Tom Aikens. They expect to have over 100 participating restaurants by the end of 2010.
